Baseboard EBS-F is equivalent to the popular IO expansion board EBS-D1 with the integrated components of a standard NodeMCU module and Li-Ion battery power. The board can be used just like a standard NodeMCU module as it remains fully compatible with all supported programming languages and the Arduino IDE. The onboard FTDI USB to UART transceiver and the serial stub firmware in ESP8266 are used for programming code and for debugging.

This design gives you the option to run your prototype circuit on portable battery power. The board has one standard JST 2mm connector for the standard 103450 Li-Ion rechargeable battery with 2000mAHr capacity. The board also includes a fast Li-Ion battery charging circuit with LED indicator.
